🎯 Your goal
You command a single King. Guide it to the glowing portal ⛉ at the far end to clear the level. Each level you reach is a little harder.
🎮 Controls
Tap (or click) a glowing tile to step the King there — one square at a time, in any direction. Drag to rotate the view, and scroll or pinch to zoom. Stuck? Tap 👋 Help Me Move (bottom-left) and the game plays one safe move for you.
♟ Walls & capturing
The black pieces are frozen maze walls. Weave the safe lanes between them. Step onto a piece to capture it — but every piece still guards its own squares, so never land where one could take you.
⚠️ Danger & assist
In Settings → Movement helpers: Assist highlights your safe moves and flags risky red ✕ squares. Feeling sharp? Switch helpers Off (No Hints) and read the board yourself for a 2× score.
⚡ Leap
Your Leap meter charges as you play. When it’s full, tap the ⚡ button to vault two tiles at once — clearing pieces, pits and cliffs a normal step can’t cross.
☠ Challenge boards
Deeper in a level, bigger boards unfog as you reach them — packed with pieces. Most stay frozen, but a rare red piece is alive and will hunt you. Anger one and it can promote (pawn → knight → bishop), gaining new ways to move. Keep your distance.
🏆 Score & compete
Fewer moves and clean captures score higher, and No Hints doubles it. Your best runs post to the Daily, Weekly & Monthly Challenges and the all-time boards. Play as a guest, or sign in to claim your rank across devices.
